Job description
- Supervise beverage, wine, beer and food orders that are placed;
- Oversee banquet costs;
- Ensure that standards of quality and excellence are met;
- Assist managers in the structure of their staff;
- Review complaints and ensure they are properly followed up;
- Solicit customers and ensure the improvement of their satisfaction;
- Bringing new ideas, finding solutions to always improve performance and quality;
- Supervise the tasks of the various supervisors;
- Participate in management meetings to improve what is done and find solutions to common problems;
- Supervise the general inventory of alcoholic beverages;
- Work in synergy with hotel managers, restaurant managers;
- Participate in decisions on pricing on wine lists and menus;
- Finding new customers, new ideas, etc., to increase customer base and quality.
Education
- Obtaining a diploma in hotel management techniques;
- Relevant catering experience of a minimum of four years;
- Basic knowledge of accounting;
- Knowledge of the banquet and bar environment;
- Experience in team management and supervision;
- More than 1 year of experience in personnel and budget management.
Necessary skills
- Computer skills required (Maître D, Word and Excel);
- Interpersonal skills, leadership;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Knowledge of wines;
- Critical sense, diplomacy;
- Quick-witted;
- Ability to work well under pressure.
