Job description
- Respond to production emergencies by repairing process equipment in use;
- Verify the condition of the production systems by visualizing the state of the components to detect problems that could cause breakdowns and repair them if necessary by referring to the work order or the customer;
- Investigate the causes of breakdowns by checking control devices, condensers, fans, etc;
- Replace defective components and sub-components and reassemble the unit using hand tools, welding and stirring equipment;
- Repair small appliances including lawn mowers, garden tools and power tools;
- Analyze recurring problems and make recommendations for improving equipment reliability;
- Perform any other task related to the general maintenance of the building.
Education
- DEP in industrial construction and maintenance mechanics or in electromechanics, any other training deemed equivalent an asset;
- Have at least 1 year of relevant experience in industrial maintenance or general building maintenance;
- Hold a B qualification certificate (important asset).
